A freelance creative designer currently based in the Netherlands, born and raised in South Africa, with a 17 year stint in Vancouver, Canada in-between. An avid traveler, scuba diver and photographer with a tendency to paint on walls. Mean cook, no fixed address/kitchen.
With over 35 years in the Financial Services Industry, Judy is an Investment Advisor with a major full-service brokerage firm in Canada. She also serves as Treasurer for the Greater Moncton Chapter of Osteoporosis Canada and as board member for BUILT Network.

An independent spirit, Bertha is a media academic and university lecturer with a PhD in Media and Cultural Studies from Cardiff University. Born and raised in Borneo, she is currently London-based. She is also a foodie, fan of quality TV & film, cat-lover and amateur photographer.

Brian has his Tourism Management degree from Capilano University. With several years of work in marketing, Brian brings experience in marketing communications, brand awareness, ethical tourism, cultural tourism, product development and leadership. An experienced boulderer/rock climber and outdoorsman, he also enjoys chopping wood and the beautiful weather in New Brunswick.
ADMINISTRATOR & VOLUNTEER COORDINATOR
Lisa works as a consultant in the energy efficiency field and has a PhD in Sociology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She is the mother of a bright and enthusiastic son and the partner of an intelligent and loving man. Lisa also practices yoga, hula hoops, and loves to cook and bake with locally-sourced ingredients. PROGRAM DIRECTOR, UGANDA
Richard, a social worker by profession, studied Social Work and Social Administration at Makerere Institute for Social Development, Gender and Development at Nsamizi Training Institute of Social Development. He is in the final semester of completing a bachelor’s degree in Community Leadership and Development at Uganda Christian University. He began his career at Medicines Sans Frontiers (MSF) counselling night commuters in Gulu, Uganda. Richard also worked at the Gulu Support the Children Organization Rehabilitation Center for Former Child Soldiers and Comboni Samaritans of Gulu. His involvement with Caleb’s Hope is in fulfillment of his dreams of supporting disadvantaged children and women in his community of Attiak, where he is originally from.
Based in Sweden, Daniel has a Master in Human Rights with a focus on Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). Professionally Daniel advises people how to best combine foods and beverages. Most of his spare time is spent as a musician, conductor, band leader and arranger of music.
OKELLO KOSKO KENNEDY
COORDINATOR & CONSULTANT, UGANDA
Kosko is a well-respected school teacher in the Atiak Sub-County district. He instills the importance of education and community caring to all his students. He has been a CH volunteer since the beginning of the NGOs involvement in Atiak.
DIRECTOR OF ARCHITECTURAL DESIGN & SUSTAINABILITY (PROJECT BUILD)
Educated in Germany, with a Dipl.-Ing. degree in Architecture acquired at the Brandenburgische Technische Universitaet Cottbus, a background in architectural research, sustainability and design, Katja has worked as an architectural designer for multiple firms in Canada and Germany. For the last 5 years Katja has been living and working in Vancouver, and developed quite a passion for the great outdoors, especially snowboarding and hiking. Katja currently works and lives in Berlin.
AGRICULTURAL TRAINER, UGANDA
22-year-old Okello Richard studied General Agriculture specializing in animal husbandry and crop production at the Amugo Agricultural Institute in Uganda. He offers our beneficiaries training in animal rearing and crop production, particularly in the areas of modern agronomic practices, post-harvest handling, as well as fruit farming and growing.

Upon graduating from University of King’s College and receipt of her Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology and Social Anthropology, Allyson’s interest in acting led her west to study at the Vancouver Film School. She is a TESOL certified ESL teacher with a passion for all things cultural. Now back on Canada’s east coast, Allyson works at a private art and design college helping students pursue their artistic passion. She is likely to be found discovering new music, film or planning travel adventures.
A nomad and adventurer, Samantha holds a Masters in International Relations and is currently the Associate Director of International Special Events for Human Rights Watch where she has worked for the past 3+ years, specialising in development (fundraising) and events. In her spare time, Sam is an avid traveller and is passionate about cooking, skiing and literature.

Broadus is a Vancouver, BC based actor and hero-for-hire who is honored to be part of Caleb’s Hope in the role of all around go-to-guy for the hard to handle and odd jobs. Well-trained in the mystic arts of information science, law enforcement and service in the U.S. Navy, he seeks to keep members of Caleb’s up-to-date with the latest developments in the Sub-Saharan/East Africa with a special emphasis on Uganda and the Sudan.
